Privacy policy (English)

Who is responsible. meetrec is a personal tool of Eliran Cohen, who is responsible for its data. Contact: eliranc4@gmail.com.

Who uses it. Only its owner, with his own Google account. There are no other users and no sign-up.

Google data. One scope only: Google Tasks. meetrec reads the names of the task lists to find its own list (and creates that list once if it does not exist yet), reads the tasks in that list so that no task is created twice, and creates new tasks in that list only. It does not delete or change existing tasks.

Where data is kept. Recordings are uploaded to the owner's own Google Drive and kept there. They are transcribed and summarized on the owner's own computer, and each meeting's transcript and summary are stored on that computer and in the same Google Drive. Tasks are kept in the owner's Google Tasks. The Google access token is kept in the owner's key folder on his computer. No server of ours receives Google user data. This server only serves these two pages and keeps no access log of them.

Sharing and use. Data is not sold, shared or used for advertising, and is not used to train AI models. meetrec's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and revoking. A task stays in Google Tasks until the owner deletes it; recordings, transcripts and summaries stay in his Drive and on his computer until he deletes them. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions; deleting the token from the computer disconnects the tool.
